Since nursing professions becomes a mainstream during this world, it branched out into many sub-mainstreams. Neonatal nurse is one in all the branches of nursing. Neonatal nurse have 3 levels: level 1, level two and level three. In level 1, neonatal nurse is responsible to care of healthy newborn babies up to twenty-eight days. Newborn babies during this level are all healthy so that they don't got to take risks in taking care of them. during this level, newborn babies haven't any complications and diseases so they are doing their job in an exceptional method.

In level 2, newborn babies here are all premature and have diseases therefore neonatal nurse should give an extra care to the infants. they must have extra skills on how to manage any medical

conditions. once they are in level three, newborn babies have complications and illnesses. Baby’s lives are just relying within the technology. During this level, neonatal nurse are instruct in intensive care units for babies. 

Neonatal nurse practitioner (NPP) has no level compared to neonatal nurse. Neonatal nurse practitioner is responsible in taking care newborn babies with such complications and diseases. Diseases that are very common to newborn babies are low birth weight, respiratory distress, congenital heart defects or various other abnormalities and disorders. She/he is responsible to supervise the progress when it involves the health of their patients. Neonatal nurse practitioners are assigned to work in the hospital; you'll be able to usually see them in the emergency area, intensive care units and delivery rooms. they're supervising incubators and ventilators to monitor equipments there. they're just not within the hospital to take care newborn however they are also educators in their field. they are teaching about pregnancy, contraception (like condom, birth control pills etc.) and proper care for the babies.

It is challenging to become a neonatal nurse practitioner (NPP). First, you need to took Bachelor of Science in Nursing, pass their board exams and earn their registered nursing license.
